Celebrate Waupun Is Here
28 June 2019 News
It will be a busy weekend in Waupun with Celebrate Waupun, which kicks off today at Tanner Park. The big draw will be the 9/11 Never Forget Mobile Exhibit, which will be at the park Saturday and Sunday from Noon to 8 pm each day. But there’s also music each night with Boogie and The Yo-Yo’z tonight, Love Monkeys Saturday, and Road Trip Sunday night. There’s Hispano Fest, a Kids Zone, car show, Fireworks Sunday night at 9:30 and much more. Nick Rusch is the president of Waupun Festivals. He says normally Madison Street takes you into the park, but there’s construction so look for signs or check the Festival website for a map. “There’s a map, a detour map at our website and on our Facebook page and there will be signs posted around the city on the easiest ways to get to Tanner Park. So just follow the signs and you will be fine.” More information about Celebrate Waupun and a complete schedule for the free family festival can be found at the Waupun Festivals website.
