9 May 2019 News

Oshkosh Police are looking for the person responsible for breaking a dog’s leg and injuring it with a firearm. A community service officer went to the area of Jackson Street and Smith Avenue on April 30th for a report of a loose dog. The dog was limping and was turned over to the Oshkosh Area Humane Society. X rays revealed a badly broken leg that had to be amputated and that the dog suffered injuries caused by a firearm. It’s believed the dog came from the Omro area. Anyone with information about how the dog was injured is asked to call Oshkosh Police at (920) 236-5703.
