Mayville Man Sentenced For Sexually Assaulting Three Year Old Girl

A Dodge County judge Monday sentenced a 31-year-old Mayville man to 45 years in prison and 35 years of extended supervision. Prosecutors say Benjamin Marx sexually assaulted a 3-year-old girl and video taped it so he could watch it after the fact. Assistant District Attorney Yolanda Tienstra says no amount of incarceration is enough for committing such a devastating crime, but she added the sentence will likely keep Marx from harming another child for the rest of his life.
