A Fond du Lac County judge has sentenced a 47-year-old Fond du Lac man to six years in prison and six years of extended supervision on a first degree reckless homicide charge. Shannon Carlson supplied the heroin that led to the overdose death of 29-year-old Jenna Reynolds in September of 2014. Following the sentencing hearing Wednesday District Attorney Eric Toney said, “Her death is a heartbreaking reminder of the destruction heroin continues to cause in our community in tearing apart families.” Toney says Jenna’s death led to a complicated investigation. Judge Robert Wirtz sentenced Carlson.
