Beaver Dam Man Sentenced For Overdose Death
2 May 2019 News
A Dodge County judge Wednesday sentenced a 41-year-old Beaver Dam man to two years in prison and seven years of extended supervision on first degree reckless homicide and felony bail jumping charges. In January a jury found Jason Thompson guilty of those charges stemming from the heroin overdose death of 62-year-old James Hook of Reeseville in February of 2016. Thompson supplied Hook with the heroin. Judge Steven Bauer noted that Thompson had lied on the stand during his trial, but said that of all the ways a person can commit reckless homicide, this is the most mitigated.
