Oshkosh, WI – Three Oshkosh Area School District (OASD) employees were recently recognized by the Wisconsin Council of Administrators of Special Services (WCASS). Tim Bonson, OASD School Psychologist; Mary Beth Connors, OASD Transition Coordinator; and Heather Wolters, OASD School Counselor, received the WCASS “Making a Difference Award”. The award recognizes outstanding professional achievement and personal commitment to students with disabilities.
The Wisconsin Council of Administrators of Special Services, Ltd. (WCASS) is a professional organization comprised of over 350 members who administer and support special education programs throughout the state of Wisconsin. To learn more visit https://wcass.memberclicks.net/.
The OASD’s Special Education Department provides a continuum of educational services to children with academic, intellectual, physical, social, behavioral and/or emotional disabilities, ages 3 through 21. Additionally, the OASD’s Student Services Department supports the District’s instructional programs to help all students attain their educational and career goals. OASD Special Education and Student Services team members are committed to meeting the needs of all students and provide outstanding services and support to students, families, and the entire community.
