Police And Sheriff’s Deputies Arrest Barricaded Man In Berlin

A Berlin man was arrested Thursday morning after barricading himself in his apartment and threatening to do harm to himself and police officers. Berlin Police say it started out as a disturbance at another residence about 8 am. The man left the residence and returned to his apartment in a complex at 310 Mound Street. Police and a Green Lake County Sheriff’s deputy tried to take him into custody. It was at that time he barricaded himself in and made the threatening statements. With the help of the Sheriff’s SWAT team entry was made into the apartment and the man was taken into custody. Charges are being referred to the District Attorney’s Office.
