Oshkosh Shooting Suspect Arraigned

The 20-year-old Appleton man suspected of trying to kill a man last month in Oshkosh has pleaded not guilty to charges stemming from the incident. Kyle Wiegand was arraigned in Winnebago County court Wednesday. He pleaded not guilty to attempted homicide, recklessly endangering safety and receiving stolen property charges. During the March 24th incident in the 500 block of Grand Street Wiegand allegedly shot a 28-year-old man in the chest. The victim was taken to a local hospital. Wiegand will be back in court for a plea and sentencing hearing on July 2nd.
