Bond was set at $250,000 cash for a Montello woman accused of setting a fire that killed her ex-boyfriend. Frances Rittmann appeared in a Marquette County courtroom for an initial hearing Tuesday morning on first degree intentional homicide and arson charges. The April 20th fire led to the death of 43-year-old Daniel Gilmartin who was sleeping inside his home when the blaze was set. Rittmann allegedly told investigators she had intended for the fire to kill them both, but left the home after changing her mind. District Attorney Chad Hendee had argued for a $500,000 cash bond. Rittmann will be back in court for a hearing on June 19th.
