23 April 2019 News

The 31-year-old Fond du Lac man who is suspected of shooting two people at an apartment building in Fond du Lac last September has been bound over for trial. Delaney Watt was in Fond du Lac County court last Thursday for a preliminary hearing. Probable cause was found to bind him over on 17 charges including charges for attempted first degree intentional homicide, first degree recklessly endangering safety, and drug dealing. According to the criminal complaint he had a beef with a tenant at an apartment at 130 Forest Avenue and was firing at that man when a 17-year-old girl and 26-year-old man were struck by bullets from the handgun. The girl was shot in the back and the man was paralyzed as a result of the shooting. When police executed a search warrant at Watt’s residence they found a hand gun, cocaine, crack cocaine, marijuana and over $16,000 in cash. He’s currently being held at Dodge Correctional Institution in Waupun.
