Criminal Complaint Reveals More Details About Beaver Dam Murder

27 March 2019 News

Cash bond was set at $2-million dollars Tuesday afternoon for the suspect in a weekend murder in Beaver Dam. Ulisses Medina Espinoza of Beaver Dam is charged with First Degree Intentional Homicide in the death of his ex-wife Stacia Hollinshead of Sycamore, Illinois. According to the criminal complaint, when officers arrived on scene, the suspect’s mother was screaming to police “he killed her, he killed her” and she pointed at Medina Espinoza, who was kneeling next to his daughter crying profusely. The victim brought the girl to see her grandparents in Beaver Dam for the weekend. In what can only be described as a heart-breaking account, the five-year-old told investigators that she was in the kitchen with her grandmother, heard the front door open, saw her dad and they met in the living room where he gave her a bunch of presents. The 31-year-old then went into the kitchen and shot Hollinshead 15 times. If convicted, Medina Espinoza could spend the rest of his life in prison.
