Khris Middleton and Malcolm Brogdon each scored 22 points, and the NBA-leading Milwaukee Bucks beat the Chicago Bulls 117-106 Monday night without All-Star Giannis Antetokounmpo.
While the Greek Freak sat out with a sore right knee, the Bucks overcame a sluggish start to pick up their 17th win in 19 games.
The Bucks used a huge second quarter to grab a nine-point lead after falling behind by 14. That propelled them to their eighth straight road win — their best streak since a nine-game run during the 1981-82 season.
Brogdon hit four 3-pointers. Middleton nailed three from beyond the arc. Nikola Mirotic scored 13, and the Bucks moved a season-high 32 games over .500.
The Bucks visit Sacramento on Wednesday.
The NCAA Division III women’s basketball tournament bracket has been released.

Ripon will play St. Thomas (Minn.) on Friday, March 1. Ripon defeated Monmouth 55-48 in the MWC championship on Saturday. This is the first time in 10 years the Ripon Red Hawks will play in the NCAA Tournament.
The NCAA Division III tournament 64-team field was announced Monday morning and UW-Oshkosh earned an at-large bid.
UW-Oshkosh (23-3) vs. Lake Forest (18-9) – Friday, March 1 at Collegeville, Minn.
Last year’s NCAA Division III National Championship runner-up, the UW-Oshkosh men’s basketball team will play its first round game on the road against Lake Forest on Friday, March 1 in Collegeville, Minn.
UW-Oshkosh, 23-3, lost in the WIAC tournament semifinals to UW-Stevens Point by a score of 76-56 last Thursday.
This marks the fourth straight season UWO will make a postseason appearance and ninth in school history.
Lake Forest, 18-9, the Midwest Conference champion defeated St. Norbert on Saturday, 68-64 in De Pere, Wis.
The WIAC has three teams in this year’s tournament. UW-La Crosse will play St. Thomas (Minn.) in Lincoln, Nebraska on Friday. While UW-Platteville, the WIAC tournament champion, will play Capital University (Ohio) in Rock Island, Illinois.
In Cactus League play on Monday, the Angels held on to beat the Brewers 4-3. Corey Spangenberg and Lucas Erceg hit solo homers for Milwaukee. Erceg also drove in another run with a double. Jon Olczak gave up three runs on two hits in the fifth inning and took the loss. The Brewers host the Padres today.
Meanwhile, Brewers right-hander Jimmy Nelson took a three-day pause in his throwing program over the weekend, but he’s expected to resume activity on Tuesday. Club officials described the setback as minor.
Nelson underwent major shoulder surgery in the fall of 2017 and missed all of 2018. He navigated a normal offseason and had thrown four bullpens since arriving in Arizona, and he was advancing toward facing hitters in live batting practice.
Nelson will need to throw an issue-free bullpen session before moving on to that next step.
