Neenah Man Charged For Fatal Lake Winnebago Boating Accident

Winnebago County prosecutors have charged a 44-year-old Neenah man for a boating accident on Lake Winnebago last summer that killed two sisters. Brian Sullivan is charged with two counts of homicide by intoxicated use of a vehicle for the August 18th collision that killed 26-year-old Lauren Laabs and her 20-year-old sister Cassie Laabs. The two women were thrown from their boat during the collision and drowned. They were not wearing life jackets. Their father Kim was driving their boat. Sullivan’s blood alcohol content was above the legal limit. Sullivan will make his initial court appearance on April 1st.
