First Session Of Lakeside Municipal Court In Ripon Next Week

Lakeside Municipal Court will hold its first session in the City of Ripon next week. Ripon joined the court at the beginning of the year and the first session, initial hearings for non-criminal traffic and ordinance violations, will be Thursday, February 14th. Police Captain Troy Damsteegt says 62 initial hearings will be held that day starting at 9:30 in the morning at City Hall. Lakeside Municipal Court serves all the municipalities in Fond du Lac and Green Lake County. Damsteegt says the court’s sessions are open to the public. The court also has the power to marry people.
