Findings Being Released In FDL Police Custody Death

Fond du Lac County District Attorney Eric Toney and Sheboygan Police this afternoon will release their findings about the death of a 37-year-old Fond du Lac man that occurred while in the custody of Fond du Lac Police. Christopher Cary was in the back of a squad car following a traffic stop December 23rd when he began to go into medical distress. He was taken to St. Agnes Hospital where he died. The three officers involved in the incident; Sandra O’Donnell, Brandon Meundt, and Trenton Smith were originally placed on administrative assignment, but were returned to regular duty on January 10th. Sheboygan Police investigated the incident. The findings will be released during a press conference at the Fond du Lac Police Department.
