39-year old Matt LaFleur has accepted the Packers offer to become the 15th head coach in franchise history, according to the Associated Press Monday night.

Reportedly, the Packers and LaFleur are still finalizing a deal. It’s expected that first-year defensive coordinator Mike Pettine will remain with the Packers.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter says the Packers have been contacting other candidates to let them know their choice is made.

The Packers interviewed LaFleur Sunday after five days of coaching interviews that reportedly included interim Packers coach Joe Philbin, the New England Patriots’ offensive and defensive coordinators, and the New Orleans Saints assistant head coach and their offensive coordinator.

NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport says the Packers “moved quickly on LaFleur” rather than take the time for a second round of interviews.

The Packers were the only team the 39-year-old LaFleur talked to. He has 10 years of NFL experience, two of those as an offensive coordinator.

LaFleur worked under Rams head coach Sean McVay and 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan. Last season he called plays for the first time for the 9-win Titans. He worked under Shanahan in Atlanta, serving as Matt Ryan’s quarterbacks coach in 2016 when Ryan won NFL MVP honors, and the Falcons whipped the Packers in the NFC Title game to reach the Super Bowl.

Tennessee’s offense ranked 25th this year but had injury issues with starting quarterback Marcus Mariota.

Giannis Antetokounmpo had 30 points and Malcolm Brogdon scored 21 to lead the Milwaukee Bucks past the Utah Jazz 114-102 on Monday night.

Thon Maker added a season-high 15 points off the bench for the Bucks, who were coming off a 123-116 loss to Toronto on Saturday night. Milwaukee improved to 28-11, the second-best record in the NBA.

Donovan Mitchell scored 26 points and Rudy Gobert had 14 points and 15 rebounds for the Jazz, who lost starting point guard Ricky Rubio to a right hamstring injury less than five minutes into the game. He didn’t return.

The Bucks play at Houston Wednesday night.

In the College Football Playoff Championship game, Clemson routed Alabama 44-16. Tigers Freshman quarterback Trevor Lawrence completed 20 of 32 passes for 347 yards and three touchdowns and was the offensive MVP. Justyn Ross caught six passes for 153 yards and a touchdown.
