Pedestrian Hit And Killed By Pickup Truck In Northeastern FDL County

Sheriff’s officials in Fond du Lac County have released the names of those involved in a fatal accident in which a pedestrian was struck and killed by a pickup truck in the Town of Calumet Sunday evening. Thirty-six-year-old Kimberly Parker of Kaukauna had just walked out of Capone’s restaurant and bar in Pipe and had stepped off the sidewalk and into the southbound lane of Highway 151 when she was hit by the truck. She died at the scene. The driver of the pickup, 31-year-old Christopher Kohlman of New Holstein, and his two children who were passengers were not inured. It was the county’s first fatal traffic accident of the New Year.

Fond du Lac County has its first fatal traffic accident of the year. A 36-year-old Kaukauna woman was hit and killed when she exited from Capone’s restaurant and bar in Pipe. She had walked out of the restaurant onto a sidewalk and then stepped into southbound Highway 151 where she was struck by a pickup truck. She died at the scene. Sheriff’s officials say the 31-year-old New Holstein man and his two children who were passengers in the truck were not injured. The accident on Highway 151 at County Highway W in the Town of Calumet was reported shortly after 5:30 Sunday afternoon.
