Jayme Closs Kidnapper In Court Today

The 21-year-old Gordon, Wisconsin man suspected of kidnapping Jayme Closs and killing her parents will be in court in Barron County today. Jake Thomas Patterson is expected to be charged with two counts of intentional homicide and one count of kidnapping. Investigators found a shotgun at his residence in Gordon they suspect was used to kill Closs’s parents last October when she was kidnapped. Jayme Closs escaped from captivity last Thursday after being held for 88 days. Patterson was arrested shortly after she got a couple to call 911 for her. The 13-year-old girl’s ordeal was profiled on CBS TV’s 48 Hours Saturday night. A link to that program can be found at our website.
