FDL Death Investigation Continues

Fond du Lac Police have released the name of the 37-year-old Fond du Lac man who died while he was in their custody last month. Christopher Cary was in the back of a squad car following a traffic stop when he began to go into medical distress. He was taken to St. Agnes Hospital where he died. The three officers involved in the incident; Sandra O’Donnell, Brandon Meundt, and Trenton Smith were originally placed on administrative assignment, but were returned to regular duty on January 10th. More information will be released following the Fond du Lac County District Attorney’s and investigative report findings. The Sheboygan Police Department was asked to investigate the December 23rd death.
