11 January 2019 News

Authorities have identified the man suspected of killing Jayme Closs’s parents and of kidnapping the 13-year-old girl last October. He’s 21-year-old Jake Thomas Patterson.of Gordon, Wisconsin. At a press conference Friday morning officials say he’s be charged with two counts of intentional homicide and one count of kidnapping. Closs escaped from Patterson’s home in Douglas County’s Gordon Township Thursday and asked a woman who was walking her dog for help. Eventually a 911 call was placed from a nearby home and Patterson was arrested 11 minutes after that. Closs had been missing since October 15th when her parents were found dead in the family’s home. Barron County Sheriff Chris Fitzgerald said during the search for Kloss, which started nearly three months ago there was never any reason to give up hope.
