Ripon Public Library Hosts Live Performance Of A Christmas Carol

The Ripon Public Library helps launch Dickens of a Christmas with a live production of Charles Dickens’ famous tale, A Christmas Carol: the story of Ebenezer Scrooge this afternoon at 3:45 pm. The Traveling Lantern Theatre Company will perform the production. Children’s Librarian Linda DeCramer says the group has over 30 years experience of entertaining children. “They’ve been entertaining children since 1985 and their primary audience of venue is schools and libraries.” There is no cost to attend and no reservations are needed. The Friends of the Ripon Public Library, Ripon Printers, Divine Passages Funeral Home, Vines & Rushes Winery, and Knuth Brewing all donated to make the performance possible.
