Five people in Ripon have been arrested on drug charges following the execution of two search warrants at residences in the City. The latest occurred Thursday morning at 115 East Jackson Street. As a result of that search a 20-year-old Ripon man faces charges of possession of controlled substances and keeping a drug house. A 21-year-old woman faces possession of controlled substances and bail jumping charges and a 28-year-old Ripon man was taken into custody on a probation hold and he’s on probation for drug-related offenses. During the search officers recovered heroin and marijuana, drug packaging materials, drug paraphernalia, scales and cash. Police also served a search warrant at 503Hall Street on November 29th. As a result of that a 45-year-old woman and 21-year-old woman are facing possession of controlled substance charges. Controlled substances and drug paraphernalia were seized during that search. Ripon Police Chief Bill Wallner credits the hard work of officers and public tips for the arrests at 115 East Jackson Street.
