Ripon Common Council Approves BID Operational Plan

12 December 2018 News

The Ripon Common Council Tuesday night unanimously approved the Business Improvement District or BID Operational Plan. BID Board of Directors Vice President David Knuth told the Council they’ve only had four meetings since reforming in August and made some minor changes to the bylaws. One of those changes was to expand membership on the board from five to seven members and include more people from outside the Watson Street area. The operational plan was modeled after the 1989 plan and will be worked on during the BID Board’s subsequent meetings. Mayor Gary Will calls the board and the work they are doing a “Work in Progress” and encourages those who would like to serve on the board to contact him and City Hall.
