Olsen Reappointed To Chair Senate Education Committee

State Senator Luther Olsen has been re-appointed to chair the Senate Committee on Education for the next legislative session. That’s a leadership post the state lawmaker from Ripon has held since 2011. Olsen has served on the committee since 2005 and will continue as chair of the committee with his recent re-appointment by Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald. Olson says,“I appreciate the opportunity to once again serve as the Chair for the Senate Education Committee.” Senator Fitzgerald announced the chairs of the Senate standing committees this week. The new session begins January 7th.
