Dodge County Sheriff Looking For Grinch

There’s a Grinch on the loose in Beaver Dam. Unfortunately for the thief Dodge County Sheriff Dale Schmidt who chairs the Beaver Dam Rotary Club’s Lights Display Committee noticed an animated talking reindeer display had been cut down and unscrewed from the Mill Street shelter in Swan City Park. He’s now asking for the public’s help to find the thief. Schmidt says last year a projector that casts lights inside the band shell was stolen. Schmidt points out that forces the committee overseeing the display to look into spending more money on security measures rather than on displays and lights for the park. He’s asking anyone with information on the missing reindeer display to contact the Beaver Dam Police Department or him at the Sheriff’s Office.
