Three Injured In Town Of Ripon Two Vehicle Accident

Three people were injured in a two-vehicle accident at County Highway FF and South Koro Road in the Town of Ripon Tuesday afternoon. Town Police Chief Howard Stibb says a 35-year-old Ripon woman, her two year-old-child, and a 61-year-old Jackson man were taken to the Ripon Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. Stibb says the woman was heading east on County FF and the Jackson man was southbound on South Koro Road and he failed to stop at a stop sign. Her car ended up on its roof. The man told the Chief that he felt the sun blinded his vision. Chief Stibb says the two drivers were wearing seat belts and the child was strapped into a car seat. The accident was reported about 1:45 Tuesday afternoon.
