Pizza Delivered By Fire Truck And Free With Working Detectors
2 November 2018 News
With the end of Daylight Saving Time Sunday morning the Ripon Area Fire District is participating in a fun promotion to remind residents to change the batteries in their smoke and carbon monoxide detectors. Fire Chief Tim Saul says they are partnering with Roadhouse Pizza and Ace Hardware. Random pizzas ordered from Roadhouse Pizza starting at 5 pm Saturday night will be delivered via fire truck. “If you allow us in your house to test your smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors and they are in working order then your pizza is free.” He says on the other hand if you don’t have batteries or a detector they will supply you with batteries or a detector while supplies last. Daylight Saving Time ends at 2 am Sunday morning. Everyone is being asked to set their clocks back an hour.
