WHITEWATER – Cole Wilber threw two long touchdown passes to JT Parrish as UW-Whitewater defeated UW-Oshkosh 20-0 in a battle of nationally ranked Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference football teams Saturday in Whitewater.

UW-Whitewater (5-0, 2-0 WIAC), ranked eighth in the NCAA Division III by D3football.com, took a 3-0 lead early in the second quarter and held a 13-0 advantage at halftime. Wilber connected with Parrish for an 82-yard score for a 9-0 lead in the second quarter and a 76-yard strike for a 19-0 cushion during the third period.

Wilber finished the game 9-for-20 passing for 255 yards, while Parrish caught three passes for 197 yards.

 

Girls Volleyball

Trailways Conference

WISCONSIN DELLS – The Lourdes Academy girls volleyball team went 6-0 to win the conference tournament championship for the sixth consecutive year.

The Knights defeated Randolph, Markesan and Deerfield in pool play and then beat Fall River in the quarterfinals and Markesan in the semifinals. They won each match 2-0.

The Knights then defeated Randolph 2-1 in the championship match.

Central Wisconsin Christian went 3-1, losing to Randolph 25-17, 28-26; defeating Parkview 23-25, 25-16, 15-9; defeating Fall River 25-16, 16-25, 15-10 and defeating Parkview 25-22, 26-24.
