The Green Bay Packers made two big moves Tuesday, trading RB Ty Montgomery to the Baltimore Ravens and sending S Ha Ha Clinton-Dix to the Redskins.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that the Packers will get a 7th round pick in the 2020 NFL Draft in return for Montgomery. “Packers clearly wanted to move on, and so did Montgomery,” Schefter tweeted. Schefter reports the Packers will get a 2019 fourth-round draft pick for Clinton-Dix. On Tuesday, Ha Ha tweeted what appeared to be a goodbye message to Green Bay. “Much love y’all [cheese emoji].”

There’s been speculation about Montgomery’s future with the Packers since his decision to return a kickoff late in the fourth quarter against the Los Angeles Rams. With 2:05 left in the game, Montgomery took the kickoff out of the end zone and fumbled, giving the ball back to the Rams instead of putting it in the hands of Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers. The Rams then ran out the clock and to remain undefeated with a 29-27 win.

Montgomery admitted on Monday that he made a mistake by taking the ball out. Packers Head Coach Mike McCarthy said he was told to take the touchback.

The Packers also announced the signing of tight end Ethan Wolf to the practice squad and released fullback Joe Kerridge from the practice sqaud.
