Ripon Police Dog Program Competing For Grant
22 October 2018 News
The Ripon Police Department is asking residents to vote online or Instagram to help them get a grant to support their K9 program. A company called Aftermath will be awarding grants totaling $16,500 to the eight departments that get the most votes through November 2nd. You can vote every 12 hours. Ripon Police Officer Lindsey Michels nominated their K9 Rony. She says, “No string attached you can just nominate your police department and your K9 and that is what I went ahead and did and nominated our K9 dog Rony and we have the opportunity now to possibly win a grant.” The contest awards grants to new or established K9 programs for maintenance, safety equipment, or officer training. To vote go to www.aftermath.com/K9grants or on Instagram @aftermathK9 grant and make sure you put in Ripon Wisconsin K9 program.
