Police Shoot Man In Beaver Dam

Not much information is available about an officer involved shooting that occurred Friday evening. A 35-year-old man was shot in the lower extremities and was taken to Beaver Dam Community Hospital and later transferred to the UW-Hospital in Madison with non-life threatening injuries. Beaver Dam Police Chief John Kreuzinger says the officer involved in the shooting is a 17 year veteran of the police department. The shooting happened during a domestic disturbance at 510 Walnut Street. The Dodge County Sheriff’s Department has been asked to investigate the shooting. More details will be released on Tuesday.
