Winnebago County Prosecutors have charged a 58-year-old Milwaukee man with homicide by intoxicated use of a vehicle and first degree reckless homicide for an August 10th traffic accident that killed his 10-year-old daughter. Steven Brownell made his initial court appearance Monday. A $1,000 signature bond was set for him. He will be back in court November 1st. Witnesses allegedly saw him driving his Ford Mustang fast and recklessly before he lost control on Highway 45 in the Town of Winneconne. His car went airborne and crashed into a cornfield. His daughter Kherington died in the accident and his 13-year-old son Kage was seriously injured. A blood test put Brownell’s blood alcohol level at more than three time the legal limit.
