16 October 2018 News
A man seen walking in Oshkosh with what appeared to be a rifle led to a “soft” lock down of the Merrill Middle School late Tuesday morning. Police say it turned out the 23-year-old Oshkosh man was carrying a BB gun, which violated his parole and he was taken into custody. He was carrying the gun on New York Avenue near Merrill Street. The lock down was lifted about 10 minutes after it went into effect.
