The Winneconne Wolves and Omro Foxes enter the second round of the WIAA football playoffs as the only two remaining Oshkosh-area teams.
Winneconne, a No. 2 seed in Division 4, went undefeated in the East Central Conference. After a 23-17 win over Two Rivers, the Wolves continue to hold home field advantage, this week going against the No. 3 Wrightstown Tigers.
After defeating No. 5 Valders 20-7 in the first round of the Division 5 playoffs, No. 4 Omro travels to Fond du Lac to take on top-ranked St. Mary’s Springs. The Foxes finished the season 9-1 and second in the Flyway Conference with their only loss being a 46-14 blowout by St. Mary’s Springs.
St. Mary’s Springs, which hopes to earn its second consecutive state title, led the Flyway Conference with an undefeated record. The Ledgers are coming off a 62-13 win over the No. 8 Dominican Knights.

The Packers leave for Los Angeles later today. Green Bay takes on the undefeated Rams Sunday afternoon. The Rams run a high-powered offense led by quarterback Jared Goff and running back Todd Gurley.
Currently, the Rams rank third in points per game (33.6), second in yards per game (446.4), tied for third in receptions of 40 or more yards (seven), tied for eighth in rushes of 20 or more yards (six) and first in yards per pass attempt (9.7).
College Football on Saturday
Ripon College is at the University of Chicago. Ripon is 5-2 on the season.
U.W. Oshkosh travels to Stevens Point. The Titans are 5-2.
In the NBA tonight, the Bucks play at Minnesota. Milwaukee is 3-0 on the season.
Game three of the World Series is tonight in Los Angeles where the Dodgers trail the Boston Red Sox, two-games to nothing.
