Another FDL Heroin Dealer Sentenced To Prison

22 October 2018 News

Fond du Lac County Judge Dale English recently sentenced 34-year-old Nathan Ziegler of Fond du Lac to eight years in prison and ten years of extended supervision for his role in a $1 million dollar heroin conspiracy ring. Last February Ziegler pleaded no contest to heroin conspiracy and trafficking charge. District Attorney Eric Toney was pleased with the sentence. He says, “I was very pleased with the sentence from Judge English I thought it was very balanced under all of the circumstances based on the agreement that we had with the defendant that would have potentially required his testimony in the Allen Ferguson trial.” Toney says conspiracy ringleader Allen Ferguson pleaded guilty after only a half-a-day of trial so Ziegler’s testimony in the trial wasn’t needed. Toney notes Ziegler wasn’t one of the top leaders in the conspiracy, but he was still handling 100 to 200 grams of heroin both selling it and using it himself.
