Slow No Wake Order Issued For Green Lake County
Green Lake County Sheriff Mark Podoll imposed a “Slow No Wake” order on several county waterways this weekend due to the excessive rain and damage done by storms that spawned two tornadoes in the county. The order is in place for all of Lake Puckaway, all of Little Green Lake, and all of the Fox River from Lake Puckaway north, through Princeton, and to the north County Line at Berlin. Big Green Lake is exempt from the order. Slow-no-wake is defined as operation at a speed as slow as possible while maintaining the ability to navigate. The fine for violating the order, first offense, is $232.
