Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s investigators are looking into a shooting in North Fond du Lac that authorities believe may be self-inflicted. Village Police and Sheriff’s deputies responded to a 911 call from 332 Winnebago Street Sunday evening just before 7 pm for a male who suffered a gunshot wound. An ambulance took a 52-year-old man to the Flight for Life hangar at the County airport and he was flown to ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Neenah for what are believed to be non-life threatening injuries. Village Police Chief Darren Pautsch has requested the Sheriff’s Office handle the investigation.
