Honoring The Greatness Within

Join Professional Women’s Connection on Thursday, September 20, at Christianos Pizza in Green Lake, Wisconsin, as Alison Starr will teach the importance of practicing the art of honoring the greatness within one another. Cocktails and networking will begin at 5:30 p.m., with dinner at 6:00 and program beginning about 6:45 p.m.
Alison Starr started her own business, Tashi Deley, to pursue a passion and a dream. Prior to creating Tashi Deley, she served as the Assistant Vice President of Talent Development at Verve, a Credit Union. During her five years at Verve, she was able to positively impact their culture as shown through their latest Gallup engagement score of 20-1!
Prior to creating Tashi Deley and working at Verve, she was the principal at Lourdes Academy elementary schools in Oshkosh, while coaching their high school girls’ basketball team. Alison has also worked for the NBA, NCAA, and NBC.
In 2016, she shared her message as a Finalist in the CUES Next Top Credit Union Executive Competition. Most recently, she shared one of her messages via a TEDx Talk. Through her experiences, Alison has discovered serving one another is key to fostering an exceptional team culture. She would love to see other organizations continue to get better at getting better through the development of the companies’ greatest asset…its people!
When she is not working, she enjoys golfing, basketball, creating arts/crafts and, last but not least, dance parties with her two children Vincent – (“Vinny”, 7) and Penelope – (“PJ”, 4).
She lives by the motto: “Who you are is good enough; don’t ever stop creating better versions of yourself. It feels great to grow.”

Member and college student (with student ID) cost for the event is $14 and non-member cost is $19 —both payable at the door. The buffet menu will include pizza, pasta and salad with soda included. Vegetarian or dietary restrictions will be accommodated upon request when making the reservation.
