Personal Space Heaters Recalled

The Consumer Product Safety Commission says Vornado has announced another recall of electric space heaters that can overheat and become a fire hazard. The recalled heaters are the VH101 Personal Vortex electric space heaters. The recall was first announced in April 2018, and again on Wednesday. The recall impacts 350,000 units. They were sold at stores like Bed Bath & Beyond, Home Depot, Menards and Target. They were also sold online at Amazon and other websites. Last December a 90-year-old Minnesota man died from a fire sparked by one of these space heaters. The company has received 19 reports of them catching fire.
