National Night Out Celebrations Tonight

Ripon and Markesan will join other communities across the country tonight to celebrate the 35th annual National Night Out. It’s an effort where communities and law enforcement agencies band together for one night to discuss community safety concerns and celebrate the neighborhoods where they live. Ripon Police Officer Lindsey Michels says that’s the purpose behind the activities they will be holding at Barlow Park from 5 to 7 pm. There will also be food, demonstrations and displays. Green Lake County’s observance of National Night Out will be held at Hein Park in Markesan from 4 to 7 pm also with fun activities like a dunk tank, music, and a bean bag tournament.
