Names Released In Fatal Dodge County Accident

Sheriff’s officials in Dodge County have released the names of the drivers that were killed in a head-on collision just east of Waterloo Friday afternoon. Twenty-one-year-old Kaley Gray of Waterloo was driving a passenger car east on State Highway 19 and 28-year-old Jose Perez Martinez also of Waterloo was heading west in a pickup truck. Both died at the scene. They had no passengers. Investigators say operating left of center and failing to negotiate a curve led to the crash. Medical examiner testing will determine whether impairment due to alcohol was also a factor.
