Missing Town Of Ripon Man Returns

A missing Town of Ripon man returned home Monday afternoon. Town of Ripon Police Chief Howard Stibb says 52-year-old Jason Kawatski left about 10 o’clock Sunday morning to go for an ATV trip in Marinette County. Kawatski had planned to be there for the day. His girlfriend got worried when she didn’t receive any phone calls from him and reported him missing. Chief Stibb says Kawatski got caught in a storm up north and his phone stopped working. Marinette County Sheriff’s officials had tried pinging Kawatski’s phone to get his location. Kawatski didn’t think to call from somewhere that had a phone. He returned from his trip safe and sound late Monday afternoon.
