A 29-year-old Fond du Lac man who robbed a woman in the Friar Tuck’s parking lot in Fond du Lac last October has been sentenced to 10 years in prison and five years of extended supervision. Fond du Lac County Judge Dale English sentenced Domonick Morrow Friday afternoon. According to the criminal complaint the victim went out to have a smoke and while she was sitting in her car was approached by a man with a rifle. He took her cell phone. The incident was caught on the surveillance video of a neighboring business. The night of the robbery a Sheriff’s K9 tracked Morrow to his apartment building. When police served a search warrant at Morrow’s apartment they recovered a .22 caliber rifle, which was loaded and had a round in the chamber. Clothing worn during the robbery and a busted cell phone were also seized. District Attorney Eric Toney says, “Armed robberies violate the sense of security for the victim and our entire community. The 15-year prison sentence was easily justified given the aggravated facts of this case.”
