    Anna Kitzerow, the 2020 Sheboygan County Fairest of the Fair will be kicking off our Agriculture Celebrity Agriculture Celebrity Story Time at Farm Wisconsin. 9:30am & 10:30am on Saturday January 9th.

    Anna Kitzerow, the 2020 Sheboygan County Fairest of the Fair will be kicking off our Agriculture Celebrity Story Time! Anna will be reading to guest the book Click, Clack, Moo Cows That Type, a Caldecott Honor Book.

    Guest can join Anna to listen to the story. Same story will be read at two different times.

    Afterward, attendees can go through the Discovery Center and Birthing Barn! Featured book will be available for purchase in the Farm House Store – while supplies last.

    Residents interested in receiving FREE food are encouraged to visit one pantry site per week.
    This food is available for ALL community members. No proof of identification, income, or
    other information is required. When attending a drive-thru pantry, drivers remain in their
    vehicles and volunteers place boxes of food in their trunk or back seat. Drivers are asked to
    make space in their trunks to assist with this process.

    Mobile sites have been serving Waushara County since last May. Mobile pantry sites have
    been provided by the Wisconsin’s Hunger Task Force and Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin
    in partnership with Waushara County Food Pantry, the Waushara Prevention Council, Inc.
    and the Waushara County Department of Human Services. These agencies have been
    assisted by an army of community volunteers along with businesses, community
    organizations and municipalities who hosted and continue to host pantry sites.

    Event Details:     The World of Wisconsin Winemaking at Farm Wisconsin. 12:30 pm – 2:30 pm on Saturday January 30th.

    During this workshop, Steve DeBaker, from Trout Springs Winery, will walk participants through various properties of wine, how to taste and evaluate wine, and what to pair with different varieties of wine. Afterward, attendees will test their own skill at winemaking as Steve walks through the simplified steps from juice to wine.

     

    Included in the workshop:

    🍷 three-quarters of a gallon of your own homemade wine

    🥪 light lunch paired with a glass of wine from Trout Springs Winery

    ➕ Additional glasses of wine will be available for purchase.

     

    Cost is $45 per person. Participants must be at least 21 years old.

     

    Each participant will have their own 6′ table to complete their project, allowing plenty of room for social distancing.
