  • WACC Freedom Fest Brat Fry

    Freedom Fest is Waushara County’s celebration of Independence Day sponsored by the Waushara Area Chamber of Commerce. The festival will be held on Saturday, July 6th with the parade beforehand at 5:00pm. The event will then continue on at the Waushara County Fairgrounds with food, entertainment and kids activities followed by one of the area’s finest displays of fireworks sponsored by various businesses and organizations. Each year the cost of the fireworks increases and raising the funds gets harder. To help offset some of these expenses, the WACC Board Members will be holding a Brat Fry at StoneRidge in Wautoma from 10am-2pm on Friday, June 7th. We’ll be serving up brats, burgers, and hot dogs. Come buy your lunch from us and help support Freedom Fest 2019 in the process, we hope to see you all there!

  • 8th Annual Veterans Benefit & Ride

    The 8th Annual Veterans Benefit & Ride, hosted by the Winnebagoland Marines Inc, will be held on Saturday, June 8th. It’s an event used to benefit the Winnebago Detachment 357 Marine Corps League in cooperation with the United Veterans Honor Guard.

    The benefit will be located at 4715 Sherman Road in Oshkosh. It will include a motorcycle ride, music, as well as basket and gun raffles, with a Poker Hand & Raffle Drawing starting at 6:00 pm.

    Knigge Farms’ Breakfast on the Farm event will be held on June 8th from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. Breakfast will include a Wisconsin Egg Omelet, sausage from Beck’s Meat Processing, as well as fruit, pancakes, Wisconsin cheese and a beverage choice of milk and coffee. You can also enjoy a serving Leon’s Frozen Custard for dessert!

    In addition to breakfast, there will also be activities, prizes, and fun for the whole family, with activities such as a farm tour, a cheese tasting, and a youth activities tent. There will also be musical entertainment by Remington’s Ride.

    The 51st Annual Youth Days and Waukau chicken BBQ will be held Sunday June 9, rain or shine. Serving starts at 11:00 AM until sold out. The Youth Days parade starts at noon with the crowning of Miss Rural Winnebago to follow. Kids games, a bounce house, pie and ice cream sale, burger/brats/hot dogs will be available. Family fun includes DJ Sonny’s Rockin’ Road Show with karaoke and contest giveaways!

Parent or guardian must be present to sign. Waivers will not be handed out to underage participants.

  • 17th Annual Father’s Day Antique & Classic Car & Truck Show

    The 17th Annual Father’s Day Antique & Classic Car & Truck Show will be held on Sunday, June 16th from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm at Bird Creek Park in Wautoma. In addition to the car show, there will also be food, beverages, and music, as well as a 50/50 cash raffle. This event has free parking and admission for spectators.

    The awards presentation will begin at 2:30 pm, with 45 custom awards in 15 classifications and a Judges’ Choice Award presented. The vehicle entry charge is $10.

    The 32nd Annual Ripon FFA Alumni Country Breakfast will be held on Sunday, June 16th from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm at D & D Sunny Side Beef in Ripon. The breakfast is All-You-Can-Eat and will include Wisconsin Scrambled Omelets, pancakes, sausage, pork, cheese, fruit, and beverages of juice, milk, and coffee. There will also be free ice cream following breakfast. There will be mass in the park at 10:30 am, with a chicken dinner to follow. The dinner will go from 11:30 am until sold out. In addition to mass and dinner, there will be games for children and adults, music, a big ticket raffle, a color run, a silent auction, and live entertainment! BINGO will also be held at 1:00 pm.

    Dinner tickets will cost $10 each and will be available for purchase at the dinner.
