    Knights of Columbus Pancake Breakfast

    The Knights of Columbus Pancake Breakfast will be held on Sunday, October 27th from 7:30 am until 10:45 am at the St. John’s Catholic School Gym. The breakfast is All-You-Can-Eat and will include the Famous Pancake Wheel.

    Children ages 5 to 12 – $5

    Children under 5 – FREE

    Boys & Girls Club of the Tri-County Area Presents: "Trunk-Or-Treat"

    The Boys & Girls Club of the Tri-County Area presents “Trunk-Or-Treat.” This event will be held on Tuesday, October 29th from 4:00 pm until 5:30 pm in the Boys & Girls Club parking lot. All are welcome! Concessions for the event will be provided by Keystone Club.

    In addition to “Trunk-Or-Treat,” there will also be a Sparks Club Community Center Open House. There will be tours at 4:00 pm, 4:30 pm, and 5:00 pm for families who want to learn more about Sparks Club.

    The Boys & Girls Club of the Tri-County Area is located at 344 Broadway Street in Berlin.

    The Downtown Ripon WineWalk is set to return on Friday, November 01. During the event, which takes place from 5:30 to 8:30 pm, businesses throughout the historic district will become “tasting rooms” where attendees may sample up to 20 different wines throughout the evening. Numerous businesses will be open late during the event to provide you with an adequate dose of shopping therapy.

    Jake Fest

    Jake Fest will be held on Saturday, November 2nd from 9:00 am until 2:00 pm at River Shores Church in Berlin. There will be a silent auction, a bake sale, walking tacos, crafts, a bounce house, face painting, and more! Proceeds from Jake Fest will be used to benefit Jake Smith of Omro, who recently received a double lung transplant as a result of Cystic Fibrosis.

    River Shores Church is located at 253 Church Street in Berlin.

    Whisper Hills Clydesdales Special Needs Halloween Bash and Anniversary Celebration

    Whisper Hills Clydesdales Special Needs is hosting a Halloween Bash and Anniversary Celebration at the Fond du Lac County Fairgrounds Expo Building on Saturday November 2, 2019.  This event is a fundraiser for the Whisper Hills Clydesdales.  The event runs from 10:00am to midnight.

    The celebration will include:

    -Whisper Hills animals, a petting zoo and wagon rides (weather permitting)

    -Vehicles from the Fond du Lac Police, Fond du Lac County Sheriff and Fond du Lac Fire Department

    -Halloween costume contests (children judging at 1:00pm/adults at 10:00pm)

    -Live auction (6:45pm)

    -Live music from Boogie and the Yo-Yos (3:00pm) and Reckless Remedy (8:00pm)

    (cover charge is $10 for one band and $15 for both)

    -plus games, food, drinks, silent auction, raffles and more.

     

    All proceeds will benefit the Whisper Hills Clydesdales Special Needs, which maintains Clydesdale horses that work with people having special needs.

    Craft & Vendor Fair

    A Craft & Vendor Fair will be held on Saturday, November 2nd from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm at the Fairwater Civic Center, located at 104 Main Street in Fairwater.

    Items for sale include bath and beauty items, barn board and wood crafts, handcrafted soaps, metal art, crocheted stuffed animals, handmade cards, and so much more!

    From 12:45 pm until 1:45 pm, K-9 Koda and FDL County Sheriff Deputy Weisbecker will also be in attendance.

    Food sales from the event will be used to benefit the Brandon/Fairwater Volunteer Fire Department.

    Activities during the benefit include the following:

    • 50/50 raffles
    • Music starting at 5pm
