    Tuesday, January 15th, Brown Bags and Books Club. This new book club, presented by Vision 2020, is aimed at raising awareness about the economic challenges facing our community and our country. Bring a lunch to the Wautoma Public Library on Tuesday, January 15th from 11:30-12:30pm to join the discussion. January’s book will be Hillbilly
    Elegy: A Memoir of a Family and Culture in Crisis, by J.D. Vance. Copies of this month’s book will be available for check out at the Wautoma Public Library. If you are unable to attend the meeting but would still like to discuss the book, join in on Facebook:

  • Memorial Scholarships for Residents of Waushara County

    Jim and Charlotte Bleskey Memorial Scholarship:

    A $500 scholarship will be awarded annually.

    • Applicants must be a resident of Waushara County

    • Applicants must be pursuing a degree/career in an agricultural related field.

    • The scholarship is available to anyone pursuing higher education.

    • An applicant can only receive the scholarship once.

    • Scholarship payment will be made directly to school once a current transcript and proof of enrollment in second semester is received.

    • Application needs to be postmarked or email by April 1, 2019

    • Applicants are not required to be Farm Bureau members, but a priority will be given to applicants or their parents that are members.

    Gordon Krentz Memorial Scholarship:
    Scholarship eligibility is based on the following:

    • Current Waushara County Farm Bureau member or a son/daughter of a current Waushara County Farm Bureau member

    • Post-secondary education commitment

    • Current cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (B average).  This “B” average must be maintained through your post-secondary education first semester or the scholarship money will be forfeited.
