Hometown Calendar

All Saints Parish will hold its annual Harvest Dinner on SUNDAY, OCTOBER 14 in the Parish Social Hall on Highway 49 south of Berlin.  An old-fashioned chicken dinner with all the trimmings, including homemade pie, will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.  Carry-outs will also be available.  The dinner costs $10 for adults, $5 for children ages 5-10.  Children under 5 eat free.

Thurs., Oct. 18, lunch serving from 11:30 – 1:30 p.m.  & supper served 4:30 – 6:30 p.m.

Messiah Lutheran Church, 500 Mayparty Drive, Ripon.

Fri., Oct. 19, 11:30a-1p, Boys & Girls Club of the Tri-County Area.  Honoring Deputy  Bruce Williams, who died while protecting and serving his community 15 years ago.

Meal:  BBQ Pork sandwich, chips, pickle & dessert.  $6 for a single sandwich meal & $8 for a 2-sandwich meal.

Markesan Resident Home located at 1130 N. Margaret Street in Markesan offers complimentary wellness and vital checks on the third Friday of each month from 2 pm to 2:30 pm. No appointment is necessary, just stop by.  All wellness checks are free, confidential and done with a licensed care practitioner.

The next wellness check date is Friday, October 19^th from 2pm to 2:30pm (Spooktacular Bingo kicks off at 2:30pm. This is free gaming, fun, camaraderie, snacks and prizes too! Guests are invited to wear a costume).

A gathering of traditional crafts and skills with demonstrations featuring knowledge and techniques given from the heart by people who truly enjoy what they do.
