    Saturday, August 5th, American Legion Post 139 County Wide Veteran’s Picnic. All Veterans and their families are invited to join the American Legion Post 139 for a picnic hosted by the American Legion Post 139 at W11584 State Rd 21 in Coloma, WI.

    The picnic will run from 11am-2:00pm and will consist of a pig and corn roast, brat, burgers, social hour, and special guest speakers.

    The Green Lake Association is throwing a Route 66 bash in honor of 66 years of conservation work on Big Green. Get Your Kicks! is a celebration of GLA members, partners and friends- cats like us who love Green Lake and who make our work to restore Green Lake’s water quality possible. So fire up your hot rod and join us at Shoreline Boat Center Showroom for a night of classic cars, tunes and a mission to restore Green Lake.

    Purchase tickets for $70 each and enjoy a delicious dinner, live music from the Cadillac Casanovas, a live auction and bucket and booze raffles! Gather a group of 8 friends and enjoy a premier Neighborhood Table, it’s a great way to get the whole neighborhood together!     A community favorite for friends & family! Come down to the Village Green located at the corner of Watson and Seward Street in downtown Ripon.  The series typically takes place on Friday evenings, June through August, 7p-10p, but occasionally bonus concerts are added or events rescheduled due to weather issues. Participants are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets to sit on. No carry-ins are allowed in the park because beverage sales help cover entertainment expenses. Free music isn’t really free. Check out www.downtownripon.com for the 2017 schedule of bands.
