    Bank First/Oshkosh Chamber Golf Outing

    Summer is right around the corner and soon it will be time for the Bank First/Oshkosh Chamber Golf Outing! Join us on August 14th for a day on the course at Lake Breeze Golf Club. All Oshkosh Chamber Members and guest are invited to attend the 19th Hole reception following the round of golf.

    Enjoy a day of golf or stop by after work to enjoy cool drinks and company!

    Join Jenni Borell, E-RYT, certified integrative yoga for seniors instructor, and certified essential low back program instructor, to release tension, increase range of motion and energize through this slow-paced, therapeutically-oriented class.

    This class is suited for all ages and abilities.

    Gentle Yoga is scheduled for Mondays, August 7 to 28 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the RMC Wellness Center, 845 Parkside Street, Ripon. Individuals should bring a yoga mat to each class.

    The Fun Keeps Building at the Ripon Public Library!

     

    Ripon, WI – As part of its Build a Better World summer series, Ripon Public Library is excited to present another week of unique, free programs. Registration is not required to participate.

    08.15.17 | Tuesday 6:00 P.M. | Adult Game Night – Mysterium

    Put your game face on and head over to the Ripon Public Library for some kids-free, adult gaming! This month, Adult Game Night is featuring Mysterium, a cooperative game of deduction that has gamers play as psychics working together to solve a murder mystery in this Clue-meets-Dixit style game.

    08.18.17 | Friday 6:00 P.M. | Adults-only NERF Battle

    Embrace your inner child during a night of after-hours fun on Friday, August 18th at 6 P.M. at the Ripon Public Library. Outfit yourself with a NERF™ gun and then release your stress with a game of zombies vs. humans & more during this adults-only event. Perfect for busy parents who are in need of some adult time! NERF™ guns, “Elite” dart-style ammo, glow sticks, and snacks provided. B.Y.O.B. (bring your own unmodified blaster) too! (A small number of NERF™ blasters will be available to borrow.) “Elite” dart-style NERF™ guns only, please. Attendees will need to sign a waiver in order to participate.

    Concerts in the Gazebo Presents Jack Armstrong

    The Neshkoro Enhancement Committee will be hosting Jack Armstrong for some great music at 6:30pm on Friday, August 18th. The concerts are held at the River’s Edge Park located between Main Street and S. State Street in Neshkoro.

    The concerts will start each Friday night at 6:30pm and admission is a free will offering. In the event of rain, the concert will be held at the Neshkoro Area Community Center.

    A community favorite for friends & family! Come down to the Village Green located at the corner of Watson and Seward Street in downtown Ripon.  The series typically takes place on Friday evenings, June through August, 7p-10p, but occasionally bonus concerts are added or events rescheduled due to weather issues. Participants are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets to sit on. No carry-ins are allowed in the park because beverage sales help cover entertainment expenses. Free music isn’t really free. Check out www.downtownripon.com for the 2017 schedule of bands.

    43rd Annual 4-H/FFA Junior Livestock Auction Sale.

    Area youth are working hard getting their animal projects ready for the upcoming Waushara County Fair, Aug. 16-20. The market animals will be judged at the fair and those qualifying will be offered for sale during the 43rd annual 4-H/FFA Junior Livestock Auction on Saturday, Aug. 19 at 1 p.m. in the youth pavilion sale ring at the south end of the fairgrounds. The auction finalizes the market animal projects for poultry, swine, rabbits, sheep, dairy and beef for youth exhibiting their animals. Local and regional businesses and citizens are invited to attend this exciting event to support these youth exhibitors, as everyone is welcome to bid. The sale order for the 2017 Livestock Auction is poultry, swine, rabbits, sheep, six dairy project sponsorship lots and beef. In order to help promote the dairy project, six dairy sponsorships were added to the auction last year. For more information, contact 920) 787- 0416.

    Pearl Lake Fish Habitat Fundraiser
